Twee Gebroeders (Two Brothers) is an 1897 Dutch sailing barge, luxuriously refitted in 2010 to offer elegant waterside living for 4. She is a static barge and has a permanent mooring on the River Waveney at Burgh St Peter marina on the Southern Norfolk Broads. She makes an ideal base from which to explore the Broads, Southwold and the Suffolk coast, Gt Yarmouth and the beaches at Lowestoft.

The accomodation consists of a galley and saloon with gorgeous red range cooker, and solid wooden joinery. The saloon area has an upholstered seating unit, dining table, flat screen TV, HI-FI and DVD player and doors outside to the cockpit. Converted from the original Victorian stables, this is a cosy yet spacious courtyard cottage, sleeping 7, offering superior facilities to provide comfortable family holidays. On the ground floor is a lounge with exposed stonework, open fire and beams. A patio door leads onto the patio seating area provided for this cottage. There is a large kitchen diner which can double as a family room. Downstairs cloakroom. Ruscombe Hall is the largest single house at Cannington Grange, accommodating 10 people plus cots in the comfortable and spacious manner you would expect of such an impressive Victorian Country House. Built in 1865 as the main family residence for the Ruscombe-Poole family, it has remained in almost continuous family use for 150 years. It has undergone a comprehensive refurbishment that has seen a complex redecoration, new kitchen and either new or refurbished bathrooms.

Ruscombe Hall and Toad Hall can, if required, share a communal internal doorway - combining the two Halls will give accomodation for 18.

Toad Hall is one of 8 high-quality self-catering properties at Cannington Grange. Toad Hall occupies the oldest part of The Grange and was, we believe, originally constructed in the early 19th Century as a farmhouse or main barn. When the later Gothic Tower and adjoining Ruscombe Hall were added it was given a similar makeover - but does retain its original lofty feel. It is one of our larger properties and can accomodate 8 adults in 4 bedrooms, plus cots if required.

On the ground floor is the seperate entrance hall, large and airy living room with 8 seater dining table, large farmhouse fitted kitchen with original quarry tiled floor, twin bedroom, bathroom and utility room with w.machine and tumble dryer. The farmland backs on to an area of Special Scientific Interest which can be explored via the local bridleway footpath system & along the way you will find Alners Gorse which is a local Butterfly Conservation area (entrance free) where you can look out for the rare & endangered breeds of butterfly that the local branch of the Butterfly Conservation Society are working very hard to conserve by creating the ideal habitat for them.

The Cherry Blossom is a self contained ground floor apartment. It sleeps two people but can be easily extended to four with the very comfortable double sofa bed in the lounge. The en suite double bedroom with a comfortable a king size bed has full length patio doors leading into the garden.

The living room comprises a dining area and a sitting area with an inglenook fireplace and open log fire. The cottage has two bedrooms, a double and a twin, and sleeps four. The kitchen is well equipped and has an oven, hob, microwave, fridge and washer/dryer. There is a small, enclosed cottage garden with lawn, flower beds and seating for four people.  For safety reasons we do not recommend the cottage for small children as it has a steep, narrow staircase and an open fire.  Electricity, bed linen, towels, basket of logs and welcome basket are included in the price.
