You can sample Country life, Town life and City life all from your stay at Cumberwell Country Cottages situated on Great Cumberwell Farm in the peaceful Wiltshire Countryside on the outskirts of an area of outstanding natural beauty. If you are looking for an idyllic country stay although still within reach of many attractions then Cumberwell Country Cottages provides the perfect location for your self-catering holiday when visiting South West England. The property, an 18th Century tythe barn, which formerly served as stables, a grain store and for cider production became redundant over time so has been converted to the highest standard into 7 unique, luxury, self-contained 1 and 2 bedroom cottages retaining much of the barns original rural character including exposed beams and have been named after fields on the farm. The unique, contemporary decoration of the cottages and facilities has been designed to make your self-catering stay as ‘homely’ as possible.

The 7 self-catering cottages can sleep from 2 to 4 people (up to 8 with sofa beds) and all bedrooms have en-suite facilities with a bath/shower or shower and heated tail rails. The Tailpit and Meadow cottage are extremely spacious and have separate living areas along with a downstairs shower room. All of the cottages have under floor heating on the ground floors; they also have LCD Televisions including Freeview in all living areas and bedrooms, with DVD player and music system situated in spacious living areas. All cottages have fully equipped kitchens including microwave, dishwasher and dining table for guests. Each cottage also has front and rear access and there own individual patio with furniture. Towels, Linen, Heating and Electricity are all included in rent.

The surrounding area offers numerous ways to spend your time, Bradford-on-Avon, an old Saxon town is just a short distance away, and the Roman city of Bath is 6 miles away, offering a number of famous attractions such as the Roman Bath’s and the abbey. If you’re looking to relax for the day there is the new Thermae Bath Spa offering a natural spa and many luxurious treatments. If it is sightseeing you crave then you will find an abundance of attractions within an hour of Cumberwell, the world renowned Stonehenge & Avebury, Lacock, Castle Combe and other picturesque villages For the slightly more adventurous, there are many cycling and walking routes around the area, which can begin, from right outside your cottage door. A number of local pubs within walking distance and also many top class restaurants in Bath if you’re looking for something a bit more lively. Cumberwell Park Golf Club is also on site if golf is a pastime of yours, and rounds can be arranged during your stay. Children welcome, helf-term breaks available.
