The Sherriffs in North West Herefordshire - Located on the Welsh border equidistant between Hay-on-Wye and Ludlow, the Sherriffs offers luxury four star accommodation in a beautiful isolated setting, surrounded by splendid mature gardens. This Grade II listed Queen Anne House is spacious and comfortable, retaining many of the original features. It has recently been sympathetically refurbished with full central heating providing a luxurious and comfortable base from which to explore the local countryside. The accommodation comprises three large reception rooms; a fully modernised kitchen; 4 double bedrooms with kingsize beds, one twin bedroom and one bedroom with four beds. There are 3 bathrooms, plus a shower room with two being en-suite. Other facilities include an huge stone fireplace, a washing and drying machine, TV, video, telephone, music centre, games, linen included, welcome hamper. There is garden furniture and a barbecue for guests to use. Cordon Bleu cookery and basic groceries can be delivered to your door. The house is 2 miles away from 'The Stagg' in Titley, which is the only Michelin * pub in the UK. The Sherriffs is located in an isolated romantic setting near Offas Dyke path and the beautiful Welsh hills.

It's an ideal base for antique hunting in Kington, Leominster and Ludlow. A 2 bedroom cottage, Field Cottage (sleeps 5) is also available. Small dogs are welcome.

The house is beautifully decorated to a high degree of comfort offering year-round luxury and plenty of space for family gatherings. There are two dining areas - one in the kitchen, a drawing room and a sitting room. So far we have hosted everything from weddings to golden weddings, 30th 40th, 50th, 60th and 70th birthdays; well behaved hens and stags or just large family get-togethers.
