The house itself is both stunning and extensive with a drawing room, library, games rooms (including full size snooker table and table tennis table), dining room, reading room, living room as well as kitchens, courtyard with BBQ and a hottub. The gardens are extensive and include a tarmac tennis court, further BBQ areas and patio. Although principally self-catered a 3 course evening meal can be provided if required.

Further afield Durham and York offer easy day trips and there is plenty of walking and outdoor sports available in both the Yorkshire Dales and the North York Moors.
